Northwood Health Systems is seeking an energetic, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a full-time Patient Registration Clerk. Patient Registration Clerks play an important role in creating a welcoming experience for individuals receiving services at Northwood. In this position, you will be responsible for a variety of front-office functions, including patient reception, registration, data entry, scheduling, and answering phones.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong attention to detail, and can effectively and efficiently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Previous customer service and/or patient registration experience is preferred, but consideration will be made for candidates who demonstrate strong communication, computer, and organizational skills.

Qualifications:
- ·High school diploma or GED
- ·Minimum of 18 years of age
- ·Previous customer service and/or patient registration experience preferred
- ·Basic computer skills with the ability to learn electronic health record systems
- ·Strong attention to detail with the ability to enter information accurately and efficiently
- ·Professional and courteous communication skills
- ·Ability to answer phones, greet individuals, and provide excellent customer service
- ·Familiarity with standard office equipment
- ·Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information appropriately
- ·Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a busy office environment
- ·Positive and professional attitude
- ·Must pass a background check
