Northwood Health Systems is seeking a compassionate and dependable full-time Community Focused Treatment Technician to join our team and support individuals living with mental illness. This position is a great opportunity for an individual with experience working with people with mental illness who is looking for a Monday-Friday daytime schedule, with occasional Saturday hours for special events. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude, enjoys helping others, is comfortable working in a group setting, and is committed to supporting individuals in achieving greater independence and success in their community!

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with individuals with mental illness
  • Must pass a background check

Responsibilities:

  • Encourage individuals to develop skills that promote independence, socialization, and successful participation in the community.
  • Assist with structured community-based activities.
  • Support and/or facilitate group activities as directed.
  • Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive environment for individuals served.
  • Complete required documentation accurately and timely.
  • Maintain professional boundaries and protect the privacy, dignity, and rights of individuals served.
