Northwood Health Systems is seeking an Associate Residential Manager to lead a team, oversee quality residential services, and support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in reaching their full potential.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience working with individuals with intellectual / developmental disabilities, preferred
  • Supervisory or leadership experience, preferred
  • Minimum of 18 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Must pass a background check
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Proficient with computers and electronic documentation
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the daily operations of multiple residential homes serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Work a full-time, Monday-Friday day shift schedule with on-call responsibilities.
  • Ensure the health, safety, well-being, and person-centered support of individuals receiving services.
  • Supervise, mentor, and support residential supervisors and direct support staff, including staffing, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure individual support plans are implemented and quality services are delivered to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with individuals, families, guardians, interdisciplinary teams, community partners, and other human service agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with Northwood Health Systems policies and procedures, state and federal regulations, licensing standards, and documentation requirements.
  • Travel between assigned residential homes and transport individuals as needed.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide leadership to support residential teams as needed.
