The Supportive Residential Program is working with individuals with a mental illness. This position requires going into the individual's home to provide support and training in basic living skills. The ideal candidate is one who works independently, has good communication skills and is willing to take clients into the community to assist with social skills and community resources.

At Northwood Health Systems, our day treatment programs assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live as independently as possible in their community. This program provides individualized treatment in a group setting within a facility and in the community.
As a Day Treatment Tech, you assist individuals in the facility and in the community with day to day activities such as daily living skills, community safety programs, and supportive employment. You will also enjoy company paid activities in the community such as hockey games, movies, and other events.
Experience is not necessary, but if you have a positive attitude and the willingness to help those who cannot help themselves, we want you!
The day treatment programs have flexible schedules for those who want a second job or are in school. The hours generally run from 6:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday, with some Saturday hours for special events.
