Crisis Stabilization Unit Manager

As a Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead, supervise, and support a team of professionals and paraprofessionals while making a meaningful impact on the lives of patients experiencing mental health and substance use disorders. This leadership role requires an energetic individual with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to professionally represent Northwood to employees, professionals, and community partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
  • At least 2 years of experience in mental health and/or substance use disorders
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Must successfully pass a background check

Responsibilities:

  • Train, schedule, and oversee department staff
  • Participate in clinical supervision, staff meetings, trainings, and community education
  • Oversee department operations to ensure services are medically necessary and cost-effective
  • Maintain and monitor staff productivity
  • Ensure compliance with licensure requirements, funding sources, and regulatory standards
  • Provide on-call coverage as needed to support proper department operations
  • Engage in community outreach and referral source development
